It never ceases to amaze me. Kids can burn a house down in 5 min flat - but stick them outdoors and give them bone dry timber and one match - and wait half an hour . . . .Anyhow - here is the leaders fire = only took 5 min to get it going.
The fireworks went of with lots of uh's and ah's and of course they had fun running round with sparklers. Senior scouts lit the fuses and everyone enjoyed the display. You be pleased to know that no teddy bear got blown to pieces (even though the venturers had some firm ideas on that) - however the case of the exploding pumpkin was a lot of hype and myth - not even a beep. Maybe next year!! :) Mr Guy Fawkes certainly has a lot to answer for!!
